Highly optimized shRNA Western Blots

Redwood City, Calif. October 26, 2004—Panomics introduces the The shRNA Western Blots which provide a quick and simple means to determine which transcription factors (TF) could be driving the expression of your protein of choice. These ready-to-use membranes are each loaded with up to 10 whole cell lysates from cells treated with shRNAs targeting different TFs. Each shRNA has previously been optimized to reduce expression of the TF by at least 80-90%. A simple immunoblot for your protein of interest will provide a clear readout as to whether depletion of a TF effects the expression of your protein.

This system saves weeks of optimizing TF knockdown and sample generation. The multiplexed lysate format on each membrane allows easy identification of signaling pathways that could regulate expression of your protein.
