SH2 Domain Array

Redwood City, Calif. January 20, 2004—Panomics, Inc. introduces the SH2 Domain Array. This easy-to-use array employs a novel, patent pending technology that enables you to determine whether your protein of interest binds with multiple SH2 domains-all in one experiment. Simply incubate a tyrosine-phosphorylated synthetic peptide with the array membrane. Protein-protein interactions literally take place on the surface of the membrane and can be visualized by chemiluminescent detection.

Traditional methods for detecting protein-protein interactions, such as co-immunoprecipitation, are arduous and time consuming. The Panomics' SH2 Domain Array is a convenient tool for identifying interactions between tyrosine-phosphorylated ligands and SH2 domains that remain folded in active conformations. By identifying with which SH2 domains your ligand or protein of interest binds, you can pinpoint its involvement with specific signaling pathways.
