New cytokine antibody array for mouse.

Fremont, Calif. November, 2003—Panomics, Inc. introduces the newest array for profiling cytokine expression at the protein level-the Mouse Cytokine Antibody Array 1.0. Like the other Cytokine Antibody Arrays, this new array can be used with samples from a variety of sources, including cell lysates, conditioned media, patient sera, plasma, and urine. A total of 18 mouse cytokine antibodies are immobilized on the Mouse Cytokine Antibody Array 1.0 membrane.

Cytokine Antibody Arrays confer several advantages over traditional methods for assessing cytokine expression. Not only are they more sensitive than ELISAs, they have a greater detection range and are more amenable to high-throughput screening. Moreover, these arrays allow detection only of secreted cytokines, which represent the levels of active protein.
