Panomics Acquires Concord-based Diagnostics Company

Redwood City, Calif. November 7, 2003—Panomics, Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of FreshGene, Inc., a diagnostics company based in Concord, CA. FreshGene's mission has been to develop innovative technologies for SNP genotyping. One of these methods was further developed by Panomics to create the ELISA-based SNPCapture™ Mutation Detection Kits. Now, FreshGene and Panomics join forces to expand this product line and create exciting new technologies.
